Today we visited the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation to conduct our Expedition briefing. We had a successful briefing and were issued our 2012 Expedition permit. Now we await the arrival of all team members in Kathmandu.

We loaded 46 boxes of food & gear today that will go with us to Nepal!

This video clip was taken at the base of the Lhotse Couloir, after Alpine Ascents climber Tom Halliday, guide Garrett Madison, & Kami Rita Sherpa had summit and were descending. Great panorama of the surrounding peaks including Everest!

Our goal for the 2012 Expedition is to summit both Everest & Lhotse sometime in mid to late May.

Expedition Preparation is Finished!
Over the last few months we've assembled our gear, food, oxygen, & additional supplies for our 2 month climbing expedition to Everest & Lhotse!
